opportunity-flamaThe teams at Fownders, Newark’s new startup incubator, and Equal Space, the coworking space located on the concourse of Gateway 2, are offering an opportunity for entrepreneurs to polish their pitch skills and connect with investors, and for a wider audience to see the process in action.

Pitch Now will enable entrepreneurs to present their businesses to seed investors–those who are specifically interested in supporting early-stage companies. In addition to vying for potential funds and advising for their businesses, all of those who pitch will also receive immediate feedback on their pitches, which is meant to help entrepreneurs sharpen their presentations and consider critical business questions.

While all the slots for the pitch sessions themselves have sold out, there are still tickets available at $10 apiece for attendees to observe the process and network with the startup founders and each other.

Each presentation will run six minutes and be followed by a two-minute question-and-answer session with the investors in attendance.
